Cycle samples cutting themselves in a POLY program possible?

Hi,

I have a folder from a friend using a 2K5 with OS1. I opened it in OS2XL3.20 (1K).

Not going into much details but what I wanted to do is having cycle samples cutting themselves in a poly program.

I have 4 sliced samples on B1-B4. A13 is set to CYCLE triggering these four samples.
Even if I put these 4 samples in the same mute group they overlap. Same thing if I put all the samples MONO or if I set the A13 pad to MONO.

Am I missing something?
Incompatibility problem?
bug?

By the way I have a new request, in the CYCLE window, the ability to chose between different chops if there are some NDC settings on a sample.

Not sure either but there is probably a bug with mute groups not working with CYCLE in the latest OS. It's under investigation

that switching to either cycle or simult modes instantly
excludes the possibility of using mute groups.

it'd be great to be able to have mono cycle somehow.

I was told that it works fine in OS128XL (as it was reworked efficiently). For OS2XL I dunno what will happen. I got the typical japanese answer "it's difficult, it will take time". So as usual let's wait and see.
