The short answer is DONT.
But if your new to it and you have manual and want to get to know the MPC then simply load akai OS which is downloadable from their website of course.
Also check that you have the latest update for your JJOS as well by following the links on the top of the main forum page.
You will appreciate JJOS more though after the akai OS crashes on you a few times.

Yes, this is my first mpc. Will I be still able to use the JJ OS 2 after installing the akai os? I don't have serial codes or passwords.
