In a program I have a quite long L&H sample with A(0) D(90) S(16) R(0) settings.

The problem is when the sample starts looping it sounds like it has an attack value of 100.

Any idea about what I'm missing?

Peace

im guessing maybe filter? with attack and attenuation, or a LFO that is on amp? this sometimes makes samples seem like they have less attack

Hey, just checked that and set up your attack at 100 and listen. Envelope is applied to "whole" outcoming loop, not just over souce loop over and over. So if you want the envelope to retrigger at the start of the sample, you would have to enter the event.. I often use it on "oscillator" samples.

I was just about to say check your events.
When looping around the start events might not match the end events and
things will not run smooth when looped.

I don't have jjos but checking events when troubleshooting is a universal thing.

Thank you all for your answers.

bliprock>I'll check in GPE if I don't have a wrong setting.

Bugfix>I'm afraid you're right. I will have to record events in the sequencer eventually.

Lampdog> I had no events in the sequencer. The loop&hold play mode allow us to have a sample looping for a max duration of 65000. It's a kind of "oneshot looping" feature.

I have a sample that is a long crescendo. I applied the ADSR settings you can see in my first post. When I hit the pad the first time the attack sounds good but when it loops it sounds like a long fade in.

From what I think I understood in the past, it seems that it doesn't send a midi note off message temporarily but I don't understand the envelope behavior.

I've always triggeredand had events so I will wait and read up on what you come up with.

Finally a bug has been identified with the starting point of LOOP ON (TRIM MODE) when using L&H samples. I was told that it will be fixed in a next update.

Thanks to everyone again.

1. [LOOP & HOLD]

The sample to which the start point is set may not be played back correctly.
