Question about free JJ OS

I just purchased an MPC 1000 and I added the free JJ OS on it. Do I need to purchase a JJ OS to get the 4 audio tracks? Also, can someone go into detail about the audio tracks with the JJ OS? I would like to make a beat, chain the sequences into a song and add an acapella on top. Or, do I need to purchase a multi track recorder to do that?
