Some specific midi questions from a beginner

The thing I'm sequencing is, believe it or not, software on my old laptop. Its an old
software with great features but.....No sequencer.
The Software is ''polyphonic''. I could make the sortware monophonic but that would influence every midi channel and such in the program. I need a monophonic midi channel!!

The software runs on an Oooold Mac. I did try routing sequences internaly to this old software using Logic and such as sequencer. But a hardware sequencer works better for
some specific techniques.

Did you try making a new instrument-program and set everything to mono? Voice in the Amp tab to mono and the Play settings on the top right to mono? And then set the track to whatever midi channel you want? I think that'll work.
