Hmmmm hang on, oh I forgot! i might have to go and read the manual and remember it for you, :hmmm: or not.

Careful you are asking for a butt kicking if you asking that. It is in fact the same as the old akai OS as well.
So you transpose like you did in the old OS you had. If you never ever done this before it is in seq edit. it only does one octave = or - but you can just do it a few times for more. Say pad A1 to B16 is 16 so transpose 12, then transpose 4 again to make 15. Or if you have JJOSXL you can do this with patterns where you make events a pattern and then just transpose it up and down to kinda do the same thing.

bliprock wrote:That is easy to do powerface, just go to edit screen. MODE + PAD 13 and select change timing. You can move forward or back wards, also works on a range to i think in midi mode.

I did read about that, but I thought it only did +-99 ticks at a time which is like a single beat, no? Moving by whole bars would take a while. But I'll try it out.

well if you are moving half a bar or more then you just copy and paste.

Hey Bliprock thanks for answer. I looked up the old os manual and found some stuff i didn't know already.

I came up with a quiker/easier way to do this is jjos2xl:
Mode+Pad15: press copy and select the notes you want to copy, then press window for grid options, press padmove, to the right of the pad you want to copy press the pad you want to copy to, then do it. Then the notes are moved, by pressing paste again, the same notes are copied to the pad the copy came from.

Sorry for the unclear explination, it works quiker then how it sounds above.
