jjosxl or jjos128xl what can I map to MIDI controllers?

Hi,

Aside from the mixer what can I map to an external controller?

The feature charts and menus don't make a lot of sense to me.I'm trying to decide between the 2500 and 1000 and whether or not to get the xlcd.

If I can map functions to MIDI controllers ala q-link it makes the 1000 more appealing.

you can control the MPC buttons and modes via external midi. that's the greatest function ever for me. it's pretty much 100% in os2xl, and maybe 90, 95% in os128xl (i'll continue to make noise about it - it should be completely indistinguishable from controlling natively using the buttons/data wheel). this is security against failing hardware and also potentially allows you to record the process of making your songs - every button press.

I did notice that the lpf cutoff can't be controlled from an external controller but can in os2xl.... that's a big plus for os2xl.. Do you know if there are plans to add it to the 128xl feature list?
