I'm still on OS1! (MPC2500)

Hey folks, I've been on OS1 since it came out and often thought about upgrading my 2500, is it really worth it?

Am i right in thinking it will only cost $74?

You are correct on the price. I think the OS-XL is hands down worth the cash!

I dont know if OS1 has Non Destructive Chop, but if it doesnt I think the NDC feature alone is worth the upgrade.

NDC, another feature I thought I didn't need, but is now heavily incorporated in my workflow.

I don't use the main out or internal fx due to the left channel on main out being bust..

Can you monitor thru 8out while recording? I have to use input thru to monitor something i want to sample then record just monitoring with right channel on main out.

i've got the full version of JJOSXL on my mpc2500 and i still just stick with with JJOS1... mainly for full compatibility with my mpc1000... looking forward to trying out the JJOS3 though... if you can get what you need to get done with JJOS1, then don't even worry about it.
