Dear MPC Gurus,

I've recently decided to use the assignable outs for more control over sound. Here is my problem: in the program menu, when I go to the out section and select a tracks out put to be output 1 for example, it will still be coming out of the stereo out. However, when I go to the mixer and select for a certain pad to be output through assignable out 1 there is no problem. What am I missing here? is there no way to simply just output a track through an assignable out without having to go the mixer and assign each individual pad to that specific output?

Thank you for your help!

jjos2xl, I assume?

For a pad to follow the settings of any track, you have to set its output in program mode to TRK.
That way, it will output to wherever the track is set to. (including to internal fx)

Note that the track level and pan work regardless of whether the pad is set to TRK.

I don't have my 2500 in front of me, but if you're using JJ OSXL I think it's mode + Pad 4 to get to the JJ mixer and you should be able to assign a out to a track.
