I frequent the Innerclock website and check out all their timing tests. I was curious if there's been any tests (anywhere) for the MPC 1000 w/ JJOS? I noticed that the 2500 doesn't seem to have such great time according to the Innerclock site.

I have a 3K and i'm just curious if any of the modern MPCs have good time. Im finding that I love the 3K, but the part I love the most is the tightness. But I'd sure be interested in some of these modern ones with grid editing, SD cards, etc if they had good timing....

The test over 3k and 4k are with AKAI OS and on the 2500 uses JJ OS (unofficial and supercharged OS) so the test are not equal. JJ OS have a lot of options compared with original OS, probably it costs cpu cycles and then the slow response sometimes maybe results in midi latency.

This is my conclusion, i don't know if this is true or not.-

Hm, that seems reasonable. Could very well be true
