Edit: Nevermind.

I diddled with random settings, rebooted and reprogrammed the same sequence and now its not doing it.

?!

I'm not sure what I did different (nothing as far as I know).

Sometimes I think my machine or my JJ install is glitched sometimes.

It was also triggering bank A while I was in bank D a few times.

I think I'll reinstall it again.

Thanks for the help anyway.

Hello,

I am attempting to make a loop with 2 sounds in the same mute group,
lets call them A1 and A2.

A1 and A2 are canceling each other out just fine when played normally/without multi-level.

But when I put A1 into 16 level tune, it is no longer cancelled out by A2.

In fact after programing A1 in multi-level it doesn't visually show in the normal (non 16-level) sequence grid view either.

It only shows while 16-level is engaged.

Setting "Program mode/Play:Poly" to "Play:Mono" makes multi-level A1 and normal A2 cancel each other like I want them to do,
but that of course ruins all my other sequences.

So I dont think thats the setting I'm looking for.

Is there a reason 16 level seems to exist outside of the sample's mute group?

Is there another setting that I have to make?

Thank you.

when you turn 16 levels on it STAYS on even when you switch tracks/programs... except that if you switch it, the pads then trigger the sounds from the current program... make sure to turn 16 levels off once you're done using it to avoid confusion.

Thank you.

But I've never used more then one track.

Except for JJ's wonderful instrument function!

I think my machine might be weird.

Which I dont mind.

I'd still take a weird machine over a weird DAW.

;)
