Older JJOS2XL needed please

Hello everybody. Today i was dusting of my MPC1000 and wanted to update the OS. So like i did many times before i downloaded the newest JJOS2XL which is 3.42 from the official site and installed it like i managed many times before. But it just doesn't work. The MPC doesn't want to start up after installing it. So i had to go back to 3.12. What a joke! You pay over 100$ for an OS and the this. I don't get it. Can anybody help me out with a new version, which is not 3.42, at best i could try 3.41 or some similar older.

Any help here is much appreciated.

I think you will find the joke is on you buddy sorry you as you obviously did not see that you also need to update free JJOS to Free JJOS 3.16 as it says so in the instructions. at the top. Step number one http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/os2xl/install.htm
so yeah maybe do what it says in the instructions for a start then you should be rocking no probs

Better check your net browser, maybe file was saved as something else, not as *.bin file. You don't have to update free os once you have os2xl installed. This step is crucial only if you ain't got any of JJOS, and hitting straight from Akai os to os2xl, than you have to install free os in between.

Yes it had to do that recently change to a mac, i overlooked that. Thanks for the help guys. It was completely my own fault
