Mpc 1000 jjos 3.15 Auto chromatic?

Hi guys,

Does anyone know how to assign a sample in the mpc 1000(jjos 3.15) to a chromatic scale and play it through a midi keyboard? Does this jjos allows to do it?

I´ve looked all over the internet and couldn´t find a way.

I guess on free os, you have to manually set program to chromatic assigment, than save it as dafault without samples for further use. As you have such program you can assign sample to all pads at once but I think you can only use notes 35-98.

Thanks for the reply! could you give me some guidance of how to do it step by step? or jus point me where to find that information? I am fairly new to the mpc and this is killing me...
