All versions of Jjos have a 'boom bap' button to instantly create the classic boom bap sound.

Also hold shift Pad4 Pad11 while booting the mpc to load the sp-1200 swing mode.

For boom bap I would avoid all that JJ stuff and get Vailixy 3.x
