Help? JJOSXL caused boot loop error - wiped internal memory

I'm stuck and really need some guidance.

I just installed JJOS Free on my 2500, then OSXL because I wanted to try OS3 before I purchased a license, but when I reverted back to Akai OS, it went into a boot loop. After some forum diving evidently this is because JJOSXL overwrites the internal memory and uses it. Which Autoload uses when you boot... causing a boot loop.

I put an autoload folder and PMG in my CF to get the original Akai OS to boot. Then I turned off the autoloader... but internal memory is still gone and if I accidentally try to access it in the load menu, it will crash the system. BUT at least it works. Kinda...

I figured, fine I'll just use JJOS free and buy the full version... but no. Because of the internal memory wipe from demoing OSXL I can't get JJOS Free to boot at all and it evidently doesn't use the same CF card trick that the original Akai OS does.

What do I do? I've googled and scoured the forums and I haven't found a clear solution. Please help.

Supposedly JJOSFree Version 3.12 has the autoloader turned off... but that version is no longer hosted anywhere online. Why in the world JJOS would turn it back on in Version 3.13 is a real head scratcher. I'm still stuck, but if anyone has JJOSFree 3.12 I'd be really appreciative to test it.

Small update, still no solution. But It seems that when I demo'ed OS3 and reverted back to JJOS Free 3.13 so I could purchase a license, OS3 is what wipes the internal memory partition and JJOS Free 3.13 as well as Akai OS 1.24 both require this partition for the autoloader by default.

However, Akai OS will let you subvert this by putting an Autoload folder with a pgm on your CF card to get you into the OS to turn off the Autoload feature. However the current version of JJOS Free 3.13 does not let you do this and will just boot loop.

I can't be the only person who has found this problem. If I load JJOS free now, it does a fast boot loop, but if I put a CF card in, it actually tries to read the card and does a much slower boot loop. So it's trying to load something off the CF card, but what? I have no idea.

Any help would be appreciated. I have reached out to JJ but little progress has been made although they have been very responsive which is appreciated.
