JJOS OS3 2.58 – Is Input Thru still available?

Hi everyone,
I’m using an AKAI MPC1000 (128 MB RAM) with JJOS OS3 v2.58 and I’m trying to confirm whether the Input Thru / IN THRU function is still available in this version of JJOS.

According to the older JJOS OS3 documentation, there is an Input Thru function that allows the audio connected to the MPC’s RECORD IN to be monitored/mixed with the MPC’s playback, with options for filtering and effects.
However, I cannot find this function anywhere in my OS3 v2.58:
- It does not appear on the MAIN screen.
- SHIFT + F6 does not show InTHRU; F6 is SOLO on my MPC.
- I also cannot find an Input Thru option in the Mixer/Input screens.

I’m wondering if Input Thru still available in the current JJOS OS3, and if yes, how do you access/enable it in OS3 v2.58. I’d really appreciate any information about it.

I use JJOS2XL version 3.22 on the 1K - input through works just fine for me. There are two filter slots (same as the PGM selection) for filters or EQ, and one send FX slot (same as per pad FX options in PGM mode).

From the main screen - mode + pad 8 - mixer - select F5 for input - you're there.

Not sure about your particular OS version, but 3.22 works flawlessly for me if you need to upgrade.

Yes, Input Thru on JJOS3 still works fine.

To turn THRU mode on... from MAIN... hold SHIFT and push F6 to toggle it on/off
