wether i turn "use track mute events" to on or off it does not seem to make any difference. (in both case the mpc records and process track mute events.)

it has been like that since track mute events were introduced. did i miss something ?

Yesterday loaded sequences that was created with 3.06, new os (4.20) added track mute events to many sequences, very annoying as i was playing live and suddenly the tracks were muted...

Dont understand that feature anyway, i just copy to a new sequence and mute the tracks there, then play by switching sequences...
btw, how can i switch that feature off?

in pre 4.21 : highlight mute : on/off on the main screen, then hit {windows} : switch to off.

in post 4.21 : while pressing F5 {mute} hit {windows} : switch to off

truvc: when going to track mute menu, you must be out of recording mode. this is probably a bug, but yes if you have still the over dub led on, and then going to track mute menu, it actives the track mute event in the sequence.

thanks, i don't use track mutes and occasionally stumble on the feature accidently. this helps.

on the other hand, PAD mutes in grid edit, when it comes...yow. gonna be all over that.

grid lets you use pads like tracks
