will someone who's got jjs ear please tell them to make it so that when you're loading up samples you don't have to keep scrolling through the same list from the beiginning its driving me nuts.
just starting from where you last left off would really help the workflow of an instrument Like this, the 4000 does it already for those who don't know what i'm talking about.

fooks me off to. pressing a pad marked 'E-F' should take u to the sample closest to the letter E

it'd be so simple if instead of storing files from oldest to newest, the mpc scrolled from newest to oldest. this would spare so much strain.

i sent what i thought was a simply phrased suggestion.

the 4.xx series is very good work, we have been enjoying it immensely.

i am almost done with my pad fix. it is working very nicely. do you want me

pretend you have started a project and loaded 100 samples from the memory
card.

1-go to program mode
2-assign a sample to pad by turning data wheel
3-NOTE: turning data wheel shows samples from OLDEST to NEWEST
4-in assigning pads, it is best for the samples to appear from NEWEST to
OLDEST

currently, samples appear from OLDEST to NEWEST. this results in turning,
turning, turning, turning and turning the data wheel to reach the most
recent sample.

if they appeared from NEWEST to OLDEST, the data wheel is turned only once.
this saves the DATA WHEEL from strain.

The Akai OS had this nice feature that you could select the type of data you wanted to see in the load screen. So only samples or program's, etc.
This way you can find files a lot faster. No idea why JJ removed this feature.
