update yep they're all unmuted prior to starting the sequence but i'm havin the same problem with that first track

Its still buggy in JJ OS too. But if i do mutes on any track it still is supposed to playback these mutes in song mode if the track is soloed or not.

When I do a song I'll do all my mute automation on each sequence, when I track it out, I solo the track in the main window, go into song mode and sync it up to protools but when it plays back the mute automation doesn't playback, that to me this is a bug.

also mute automation is the same in a DAW or MPC if I want to overdub more mutes on a track it shouldnt mess up the previous automation Ive done or make it glitch when it loops back around, this to me is a bug.

But I've found a workaround until who ever fixes this and that is to stop recording before it loops back around when doing your mutes BUT that only works sometime.

And although you may not like the way the MPC behaves...it is not like a DAWs automation. The MPC simply records MUTE ON or OFF. If you have an 8 bar loop...and you insert a MUTE ON at the beginning of bar 4.....when the sequence is played, it should MUTE at bar 4 and stay MUTED. Even when it gets to the end of the 8th bar and loop back around..it will stay muted. You will have to insert a MUTE OFF in the sequence to turn it back on. In other words, you can insert a MUTE OFF at the beginning of a sequence in order for it to behave the way I think you want it to behave...another way of explaining is that once you record a MUTE ON in a loop, it doesn't go back to its UNMUTED state once the loops starts from the beginning again.
