program creation bug? is that the one where you get 24 blank programs apeear from nowhere?

By Sound Thief Wed Jan 24, 2007 6:54 pm
nah

it was where you create Program A, then assign samples etc

then create Program B

you now have two Program B's

so then ye had to go back n rename the first Program B as Program A

alot more hassle when you have to change something like Bass to Piano etc

Are you able to go into overdub mode anywhere but the main screen w/ this OS? I'll of course check for myself when I get home...I've already reported this issue..

If not, can we please raise a stink?

Where else might overdub be necessary? It's great being able to just start recording regardless of what screen you happen to be on, without having to press "main". I'm not positive, but in OS 3.04, you may not even be able to initiate recording anywhere but the main screen, let alone overdubbing.

The Akai OS does allow this (with the exception of the trim screen).

The point is, this seems like an easily correctable oversight. But it may not get resolved if more people don't notify the JJ team about it.

you can do it in grid edit in 3.04

i also miss the option to record in nearly every screen, every time i play around for example in program mode ,find a nice sounding thing, then i press record each time to notice its not possible
