An idea: Click track to headphone out, exclusively

That would be SUPER helpful for live performance. You could have a click track just going to the headphone out, so you could record sequences live w/o the audience hearing a click track, but it would help your time(so you don't have quantize screw-ups, or just to help you sub-divide).

What does everyone think?

i bet its not possible to route the h/p separately...pessimism! haha

u could have the h/p out as an extra aux out if it was possible to patch the h/p singal about.

yeah i have my doubts as well... i think we are talking about a hardware connection here that cant be separated from the mains. but good idea none the less.

Yeah, guess I didn't think of it that way and it makes sense. Too bad, would be nice!(I'm sure the audience doesn't want to hear my funky-triangle countoffs)

jj has announced in the past that the current click routing is locked, can't change.

Easy workaround: set to any of the individual outs a handmade click track and route that to whoever needs that signal. You can even set it in a specific sequence that you can use in SIMULT with the sequences with music on so you don't need to actually add a track (with the click) to all the sequences you're going to use in your live set.

I already did that with outputs 3&4

but than again would it work with the hardware

This is a really geeky thought, but are there any audio samples floating around of say the 2000XL or 3000 click tracks that you could use as a custom click for the 1000?
