I've bought mpc2500 on march 15. I'm completely new to mpc and hardware music production but was using computer for several years. MPC is rock solid. I've fallen in love with the baby since my first loop made without even reading manual. Three days later I've bought JJ OS. Haven't diven deep though but it looks much more usable and clever though out.
I would never go back to computer assisted music writing.
