5.09 Program Bug... 50 blank programs created in Project!

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. The projects I've created in 5.09 have randomly generated 50 blank programs. I know that 5.09 is supposed to allow more, but I didn't think it would be automatic. I decided to go back to 5.06 and no matter how many of these blank programs I delete, I cannot load programs (I get an error message that says that the program directory is full and already has 24 programs). Any ideas on how to disable this?

it's a b*&$!. just wondering if anyone found a solution. my guess is that it's just temporary in 5.09 since more program slots were added.
