forgive me if this has been answered.. is this a bug or not?

sounds seem to mute each other off randomly. i have owned many other mpcs before but i am new to the JJ os and am trying to trouble shoot this isue i am having. thanks.

check your mute groups and see if the problem lies there.

i tried that already. i am familiar with mPCs so that was the first thing i checked. it was random and i restarted and it disappeared. it eventually came back but i couldnt isolate the circumstances.

which version of the jjos do you have? with the latest one, you can monitor the polyphony, to see if you're using all 32 voices, which would cause sounds to cut off.

Check you're not running your programs in MONO play mode. That tends to be the most common answer to this complaint. (Mode Program / F3)
