difficult thing to explain. hope i can pull it off. i'm running 3.06. i have this strange ongoing issue where i'll want to add something to a sequence... something where i'll have to hit the pad the sound is on, repeatedly. when i do this, the sample (track1) in the sequence will cut out for a bar or two, depending on whether its a 2 or 4 bar loop. it sounds kind of cool but i'd rather be able to do it when i want it, and not get stuck with it. and i don't even need to be recording for it to happen. a sequence can be playing and i'll tap a pad repeatedly and the sample will cut out.

hope someone knows what i'm talking about... b

check the program parameters, is it set to POLY or MONO? try setting it to POLY and this will not happen anymore.
To set a pad in such a way that when you it it it mutes another pad you should use the MUTE GROUPS function (in the parameters menu)
