Quick question... When I sample, if im making alot of little things I'll just save, save, save... etc. And it will name them sample23, sample24, etc. When I go and edit my sample, then rename it, its not actually renaming it is it? Its making a new sample? I rename, say... sample74, to "thingy" or whatever... then I have 2 of the same sample... I can see ways around this... going in and deleting the old one.. (pain in the ass with tons of samples) or naming right after its sampled... which I try to do... What do you do?

Hi,

Try mount USB and then rename everything on your MAC/PC.
Should be fast&easy.

tresperros' idea sounds solid.

I'm about to chop about 75 breakbeats that i just recorded into my mpc, and was thinking the same thing ie. how to name them efficiently...**** it's slow using the data wheel. i'm going to use my pc for sure.
