Hi Everyone!

I just switched from 4.29 to 4.80 and noticed that the numeric doesnt work anymore. So I checked the previous versions, and the last version with the numeric key working in trim is 4.55. I just wanted to double check, cos I read on the 4.74 Bug Fixes, that he fixed it again. I wished there would be a later version with this function, i'm so used to work with the numeric key in trim, but at the same time i dont wanna miss out on all the new functions on the newer OS versions. Any help Would be Appreaciated! peace

not to mention, entering the number thru numeric is slower than TAP TEMPO + data wheel no matter how fast you are with the numbers...

plus you're gonna have to go to the data wheel to get closer after guessing the number anyway

i've been recently trying to incorporate the numeric key into my workflow with no success unfortunately. in every case, be it adjusting a number or trimming/whatever, i'm faster with that wheel

Guess I'll have to send him an report. and to Nym: I know what ur sayin', but i'm so used to workin wit the numeric. When it comes too small samples, it's faster and easier to work with the Jog like u said. but choppin up a long sample, like a whole song or something, u'll have to Zoom all the way in and out what i dont like. Besides that I'm really used to chop by listening then looking at the Wave forms. And Auditioning in the trim plays the sample a little shorter at the endpoint(at least in my ears, maybe im wrong). Not only on the 1k, since 2k i think. Anyways, i was just asking if the numeric key just wouldnt work on mine. Until the Numeric is fixed, guess i'll have to get (even better) with the the Jog. Thanx for the reply guys!
