Thank you! That is all I needed, a simplistic explanation. I just needed to see it to get it figured out.
The main reason for asking this is because I'll be using my Mackie Onyx 1620 for tracking with firewire. More so, I didn't know if the MPC 1000 was going to have enough outs to track out a beat in only 1 run through. Most beats I'm producing have at least 4 tracks, but most of the time no more than about 6.
