Apologies if this has been covered in an earlier thread, I couldn't find it.

But I use Copy Pad a lot, and I always found it strange and tiresome that you can't select which pad to either copy from or to, simply by hitting the pads, when in Copy Pad window.

When I started using the JJ OS I kind of thought he would have fixed it, it seemed like such an obviously stupid and un-MPC-ish thing to me. But he didn't and haven't and I assume now never will. Does anybody ever use this feature? Anyone tired of wheeling your sample to the right pad 'number'?

If you could select which pads to copy from and to, just by hitting the pads when in Copy Pad window, you could re-arrange the samples of a program so fast. Also to get pads to adjacent samples on the sample list.

I emailed him about it a while ago and he said there isnt enough space to add it. But if you guys want stuff likr this added into the OS than you should vote to get rid of some stuff we no longer need in the OS like OPM, Splashscreens, etc...

http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=80900

stuff like what you mentioned is exactly the stuff we need in the OS, not toys or old outdated stuff that has been improved. Lets clear some stuff to make room for stuff like this.

It's strange that it would take any memory to add this, as it simply means the information about which pad comes from a pad instead of from the wheel. Of course, I don't really know what I'm taking about, but JJ actually said not enough room specifically for this?

But yes, I'm up for getting rid of splash screen, old program mode, sure.
