Question about duplicating track

I have read the manual, but it keeps happening to me. Every time i want to duplicate a sequence i am not able to get the right amount of bars. I go to the seg edit, choose bars, on the left hand side i ask for it to copy seq 1 from bar 1 to bar 2 over to seq 2 after bar 0 and with one copy. I always get like for copies or i get some copies with the first bar with nothing. Wondering if its a bug or maybe i am doing something totally wrong. Sometimes if i want it to copy the 2 bar loop it will copy it 2times and all i have to do is remove the unwanted bars, but it shouldnt be this hard? I have jj os 479

highlight the sequnce name in the main window and press window.

Then hit copy.
