thoses are really simple fonctions that i'd like to have on my mpc 1000:
-reverse in GPE or OPE (non destructive reverse)
-"swap channels" reverse stereo channels in GPE or OPE
-a normalize ALL fonction (to normalize all the samples you loaded at once)

what do you think ?

i think you've got your head on straight for sure. good ideas, but my 2 pennies is that these all have a better place in TRIM mode.

non destructive reverse is probably not worth it though since it is SO quick to just copy the sample and reverse it.

"normalize all" would be nice!

let's say you chop a piano loop in 64 chops and you make a program with it .
you make a sequence with that program .
now you want to play that sequence with all those samples playing backward .
it will take a long long time to copy and reverse all those sample just to realize that it was a crappy idea .
and if it's a good idea you'll have to save twice more samples .

the "swap channel" doesn't exist in the trim window
i'd like to be able to reverse stereo on all the samples of one program at the same time

i'm not a coder but i think those fonctions would not take that much space
and i really want those

they might not take up much space, but there is a possibility that reversing 64 samples at once is just too much for the processor to handle

maybe you're right about that (i have no idea about the techincal aspect of the mpc).
but the processor can handle the ping pong loop so why not reverse.
is that really takin so much ressource to play a sample backward ?

these features would be nice !

What about a "replace" button when it says that sample name already exists?

what about a limiter with the compressor?
