Anyone have this problem?

If this is old news, I apologize. Sometimes when I turn on my MP all of the pads respond very poorly, and they are also very quiet. If I hit the MAX VELOCITY botton, they do become louder, but still don't respond well. I may turn the unit off and on and it will still happen. Then the next day it seems fine. I'm running 4.87. I saw that 4.89 is out and that it fixes a problem with the pads, is this it? Thanks in advance...

perhaps its an output connection. i've noticed that my headphones fit in the 1/8>1/4 adapter just a little loose. if i bump it the wrong way and then start bangin on the pads, they start acting up. it took me a while to figure out what the problem was because it only happens every now and then under the right circumstances. i also thought i was experiencing problems with the pads.
