I can't seem to find a way to do this in the JJOS...anyone know if you can delete / move files around on a CF or HD?

I know I can do it by USB / file manager, but that's sort of a pain in the ass if I'm not near the cpu.

Holler.......

Kind of following on here...is there any way to store samples in one directory, and your program kits in another?

Having duplicate copies of my kits all over the HD if I make a song with em isn't the best management of space.

You can delete if you go into the Save screen. You can't move thing around.
If you have a nice size HD and are saving your beats correctly you shouldn't really trip about duplicate kits. Its the easiest way to load beats. HDs don't cost that much and it should be a while before you fill 1 up. But if you really wanna save some kbs, maybe some MBs here and there than like I said before, you can go to the Save screen and devise a way to see what samples your pgm in your beat isn't using (so you gotta load the beat and listen for it). I just don't want you to waste your time.

Hope I helped.

Yup...thanks fam.

I loaded my HD up with like 40 gigs of samples, so I think I have about 1/2 left.
