I feel so overwhelmed after discovering this the other day, that I thought I would post it up.

In the new JJOS, you now have the ability to set the Q-Link slider for the ENTIRE track! Not just single pads. If anyone is into filtering their beats, then this is the ****, because now you can filter the enitre program at once with the Q-Link.

Fo example, If you set each pad/Drum to have a low pass filter, and then assign the Q-Link to REALTIME - CUTOFF 1+2 - TRACK (for pad setting)....now start moving the Q-Link and hear how ALL the beats get filtered at once!

You could also setup Resonance for Q-Link 2 and really make a mess! Or even pitch shift the ENTIRE program in real time.

I will quote Antonym: "we are 100% spoiled by this incredible code: :D

this was the first thing that really made me happy when i switched to the jj os.
it's one of those things that should have been on the original.

now, it's just 1 feature among a gaggle of others that i take for granted.

for my basslines, if i ever want more of a expressive feel, i set 1 qlink to TUNE and the other to FILTER and spend hours sculpting the edges. gets funky real fast!

damn I never even realized that cutoff 1 + 2 were for the filters. I've always wanted to be able to Q-Link a low-pass but I thought it wasn't a feature. I'll have to try this out some more I suppose

thanks for posting this, or I probably would have continued on thinking that I couldn't control the filters with the Q-link

Is there anyway to do this but with the tune function in the q link? I have more then 2 pads that need to be tuned up.
