i always found not very convenient to always have to scroll to select a track.

and it does not seem to be a big coding effort to allow hold "shift" + pad in track mute screen to select a track.
and maybe the selected track could be also displayed at the bottom of the track mute screen?

to me it would be a great improvement of workflow.
anybody agree with that ?

oh man, definitely, that's great! the less we can use the data wheel like a mouse, the better.

i really don't mean to change the subject, but you might dig this too.
you know all the params in GPE? you know the numeric key?
i've been thinking recently that i'd love it if you could hit NUMERIC and then move the qlink slider to grab a value instead of either keying it in or scrolling the data wheel.

so just hit numeric and then move ye old slider.

i see this as an option to avoid using that damn data wheel for everything. it's best in "close quarters" but when you're really whipping through numbers/menus/tracks, there's gotta be a better way.

yeah i like that numeric + qlink idea.

about shift (or Fkey) + pad to select track, i wonder if it had been requested already ?
