bugs in JJ OS?

Hi,

I have a couple of quick questons about the jj os...I have installed it on my MPC but have not gotten a password yet as I wanted to try out some functions....but it seems to be very glitchy...

1) The autoload folder does not auto load...it will load manually is this correct?

2) after 2 bars track 6 on my sequences changes programs to DJ hip kit.

are these issues because I have not put in the password or are they real bugs?

I'm using the new v 4.95

Me neither -- ever.

Always make sure you perform the default reset after upgrading the OS. Too many people skip this step and end up dealing with that kind of weirdness.

Autoload has to be set up from the load screen. No probs here.

what it the defaul reset...the instal on line just has the record and then it will boot...am I supposed to do something else?

i never did, just made sure auto load was off and ive never had a problem. Maybe get JJ's free version test that. it has more bugs but for the extra options it opens up its worth it. the pay version is great for me and im even testing OS2. so ive paid before its even out im that happy with JJOS1

I just purchased it....once I selected autoload folder in the set-up it seemed to work fine....so I then sent a paypal to go ahead and purchase this....

It's a good idea to do the reset right afterwards. Turn POWER ON w/ holding ERASE. This suggestion has cured after-upgrade weirdness more than once. I've probably only had that type of problem once -- when I didn't do the reset after upgrading.

No it does nothing to the drives it just resets all the MPCs internal parameters to a default state. This is actually a very standard function for these types of boxes and it really should be in the manual but oh that akai....

thanks...I'll try that reset tonight....

one other question...I was playing with the simult on a high hat....

It seem that if I have the simult on the mute groups do not work...

Is that true? Any work arounds?
