i'm chopping drum breaks and trying to get slower bpms out of them without sounding too choppy. rather than just down-tuning the samples, i've been trying to achieve some consistancy by putting long releases on my sliced sample programs, then shortening the decay on each. sounds pretty good, just wondering if anybody has any alternative methods. thanks, i love this forum.
