free jj?

is jj os 3.08 actually free to use...or just download? im a lil confused...and is it any good? id rather not install some buggy software on my new mpc for nothing..should i stick with akai os until i can buy the latest version of jj?

i was pretty dead set on sticking with the akai os but i downloaded the 4.x one and i love it. the workflow is so much better on the jj os. i hear os2 is even better but im waiting untill it gets a final release.
