I've been working on some sequences for a live set and I've arranged my tracks in each sequence so the same parts are always playing on the same tracks. I mute these in and out to build parts up and down and switch between sequences for different parts of a song. The only problem with this is that the MPC remembers the mute settings for each sequence. So if I'm just playing a kick/snare pattern in sequence A and I jump into sequence B I have no idea what parts will be playing at first.

Is there any way to carry the current mutes from one sequence to another?

funny u should mention this,

i was having the opposite problem,as im muting stuff, and (bear with me here but..) i was solo'ing stuff to cut up to one last active track before i switched seq's.......but when i changed seq's the solo was still in place so therefore i was left with the same active track number from the previous seq when i switched to the next seq.....but i just wanted the 'memorized' track mutes to be in place not a solo'd one from b4. so it was an irritating side effect, and only remedied by re-hitting solo just the split moment b4 the seq transition.

so mbe if u solo the track u want in the seq then that # track will be solo'd in the next seq, i know mbe not quite what u r after but its worth mentioning hopefully.

Not a bad idea. I'll give it a try. Thanks.
