mpc 1000 jj os issue

ok. here is my problem. when i try to lay my drum pattern down on the mpc 1000 with jjos it does not sound the same when i play the sequence back. it sounds great when i am bangin on the pads. does anyone have any ideas? when i play it back it sounds nothing like what i played.
