Mutes In Song Mode

How come my seq mutes don't work in song mode?
Also if I mute a sound in a seq it doesnt stay muted in song mode, I wanna track out all my sounds in ProTools. Is it JJ OS?

song mode doesn't use track mutes. you'd have to convert your song to a sequence and record track mutes to the new sequence.

i usually record all of my tracks to protools unmuted and then draw the mutes in protools. gives me more flexability since it's non-destructive. it's also easier since i can record vocals and then sequence my mutes based on lyrics to emphasize certain words or phrases.

which protools do you use, and what would i neeed to track them out,

OS1 for 1000 converts multiple mutes/unmutes from different sequences into new song,
if 'ref to 1seq' is set, if it doesnt work on 2500 thats prolly a bug or it's locked for some ?reason?
