Which format is used to format a harddrive? FAT(16), FAT32 or NTSF?
I take it you mean "NTFS" on that last one...
It's based on FAT, but it's nonstandard FAT. You can't do it from a windows box. The original Akai V1 routine was based on FAT16, but it must be something more like FAT32 now or it wouldn't be able to format anything beyond 2 gigs.
