[MODE] + [PAD 6] TRIM
select your sample.
press F1 to switch loop on
- presto hey -
just feck with the start and end times
till your in deep joy

tip: switch the after buttons on for Q1 & Q2 sliders

Q1= sample start
Q2= sample end

use cursor keys to move to Loop the Q1 & Q2 set the loop points.

press joint for fine tune - (not spark one up)

I think I got the Loop action down in the Trim section..... But how does that translate to the Sequence side of things.........

When I am recording a track, how do I get it to loop in that screen instead of having to time my hits perfectly?

depends on what your trying to do.
if it's a beat, first find out the tempo .you can start with adjusting your tempo till it loops smooth around a sequence - once you know your tempo you can timstretch or tune it to a new bpm.
most times i set sample to note on record it into my track, loop the sequence and adjust the tune.
if its a beat ,also you can use the new chop function and just copy your chopped loop bits through the track. -
i think some people use outside programs for doing timestretch - but again it all depends on the source.
hope this helps

Thanx Form.... I think my inability to grasp the lingo is what is slowing me down on this subject... I will keep reading and trying new things until I understand it better.
