getting the hang of it now, laying down some nice beats.

i've been making beats for 10 years, had bits signed and all, never made tunes as funky as these tho, mpc rules.

the jjos midi grid edit is the sequencer that is most suited to me
extremely powerful, lots of access. the ability to shift right there gives me more timing control, allowing like you said funkiness or more emotion and lean in general

midi grid edit, TC off, on well built programs. that's my thing right there.
