So I got one of those seagate mine harddrives a while back. If someone doesn't know what this is, its pretty much a very small harddrive that has a compactflash pin set in it. So i have an 8gb one and i have recently moved all of my projects that i have ever made that i still have onto it. There is about 40 folders, and finding one takes a lot of scrolling. So i was thinking about how great it would be to have some sort of search function. They have this on ipods where you can just enter a couple of letters and it finds results similar to your search. Now this may be difficult for the mpc to do because it would involve indexing of the compactflash card or harddrive or whatever storage method you are using. But it would be very useful and a big time saver.
