it's a lot quicker though to just hold tap tempo and select it from there

the tap tempo setting is, and always has been, directly tied to the TC setting

to turn off TC, just select the same one again and un-highlight it

though if you need to access swing settings or fix the timing, then you will of course need to use the actual TC screen. for just setting quantize though - tap tempo is a good shortcut for OS2

yeah thanks for the tip dvs, i was goin the long way through shift to turn tc off, didn't think to hit tap tempo and just unhighlight to turn it off. Heaps quicker workflow.
