Is there a way to fade a whole song in and/or out in the actual MPC?

the easiest way would be to use the volume knob

it will be better to do this during the mastering process...because of the compressor threshold (post compressor volume automation...)

In JJ OS 2 you can record (or better yet render) your song as an audio file in Song Mode (Enter Song Edit and press Record [F3]) and then apply a fade out to that rendered sample in Audio Grid Edit (AGE). That's the most accurate thing you can do inside the MPC, I guess. But I also would suggest using an external DAW to do this, because you cannot undo fades in AGE. Hope that helps.

PEACE

P.S.: You can also fade out the sample in Trim Mode, but the max. fade out time is 1 second, so that's not really a good way of doing it.
