When I try to assign samples to the pads and return to the main screen I hear no output when the pads are pressed. However when in the trim field output can be heard? Help me out! I cannot figure out what's going on. This has only happend after I installed the jj 3.08 os.

theres only a few possibilities:

1. you haven't assigned the correct program to the track.
2.you haven't assigned the sample to the correct program ( do this by either MODE pad 11 or MODE pad 8 or open window to set sample assign to pad:on by pressign window in the load screen.)
3.your program is outputting audio from the wrong channels (look again at mode> pad 11> out (f5))
4. your pads are not sending to the internal sounds (mode pad 9).
5. samples assigned to the program are set to 0 volume (highly unlikely considering what youve said)
6. a combination of all the above
