i am newb, yet not really

Hi, trying to get password for OS1, and i am told i need to give the product id...so errm where is that? I press mode+pad3 as that is what i was instructed to do, but from there where is it? i am in a WTF moment here.

you have jjo1 installed, right?

if you've installed the os1 demo, you can find the product ID in the save screen.

well, I guess the owner before me had jjos1, and deleted it, but the password stayed on...so I just saved 30 bucks Blessing in disguise there

nah dude, the registration is attached to the machine. if its already installed then he bought JJ OS1 when he bought the 1k.

Actually, I did send him the 30$ and he emailed me saying the product id I sent him(or i thought was the product id) was wrong, so we literally had about 20 emails back and forth as his english I guess isn't too good until he showed me screenshots of what I should be looking at, so I told I am doing everything he instructed. Then he emails back saying "oh, you already got a password, I'll refund you the 30$". And, he did. Nice of him. Kind of a weird first experience with my MPC1000. I really felt like an idiot for awhile.
