Creating and saving an INST

One of the best features of OS2 is creating a INST program in my opinion. I use cdxtract to extract WAVs from my old AKAI S1000 CDROMS and create new instruments for the MPC1000. However, when saving an INST program, the orginal pitch (ORG) is not properly saved. It falls back to the 60C_3 pitch, although I have changed it into the original pitch for each WAV. I can upload an example on my website, if you wish. In order to try it out yourself. Or maybe, I am doing something wrong...

the only thing i could imagine right now is that you don't overwrite that wav file when you save the pgm...
if that's not it, it sounds like a bug to me.

You are right, the pitch is stored in the WAV. I assumed that this was stored in the program so I only saved the program and not the WAVS. Thanks!

yes, it's stored in the wav - but you can access it through INST pgm GPE. this is easier for me than changing the ORG note of the sample in TRIM.
